ART101 Week 3 Discussion 1 Comparing Regions

During the Baroque period in Italy originated during the beginning of the 27th century , and continued over a century in some parts of Europe . When it comes to the art work of the Baroque it combines melodramatic compositions and beautiful detailed art . In Italy and Northern Europe the art or painting can often be found in several churches and cathedrals . In Spain during the Baroque time artists experimented their art with expressive , contrasting ,  and realistic creative approaches . Also as the Baroque spread through Spain the Spanish language spread as well . In Spain you could find the art mainly in the north in the churches as well . 

 Some key similarities that they all had was some magnificent art work and sculptures . All of Italy , Spain , and Northern Europe art was very important in the cathedrals . Some differences was the style of the art was quit different in many ways . They also all use oil and canvas on there art . The differences of region might exist due to the culture of the regions .  The different languages that are spoken , the different belief of the cultures and lastly the different styles that each one posses . Also it can be different due to the individual and or literature of the era during the Baroque .
