BUS340 Week 5 Discussion 2 Enhancing Presentations

Hello class and Professor,

According to Bovee & Thill (2018), there are three major steps in online presentation namely planning, writing and completing the task. The part I consider most difficult to do is planning. I was once required to make a presentation aimed at introducing a new product to our customers. I spent a lot of time wondering how to approach the presentation. Listing the elements and how they should follow one another was really a task for me. As such, I found myself spending a lot of time changing the approach. When the plan was done, writing was really an easy task. In this light, getting the end in the beginning is usually the greatest challenge with planning. Once the bigger picture is figured out, writing becomes an easy task.

However, completing can also be a daunting stage in making a presentation. It should be catchy and appealing and make a call to the audience. This aspect can be tricky to achieve. However, with a well stipulated plan and a clear segmentation of every aspect, it is relatively easy to achieve it.
