Comcast: I selected Comcast because I am an employee there and it is something that I know and understand. I believe in the mission of the company to make the customer experience the best part of Comcast deliver quality products and work together as a team. I feel truly fortunate to have a job in the current environment. Working for the organization for the past five years I have 5% of each check contributing to the employee purchase plan. Comcast has shown long term stability and obvious new growth with the addition of SKY and the Peacock network.

Explain how you think this company might provide value if you were to acquire its stock. (1 – 1.5 minutes)

As I acquire the stock, would first be a huge value with the 15% discount rate my company provides with profit sharing. I also think Comcast will show continued growth with Community outreach and innovation. Spanning from Oregon to North Carolina further advancement of the company with new technology and products show strong financial health. Revenue has gone up over the past five years according to the annual datasheet of over thirty million. I truly believe Comcast is a dark horse a grossly under evaluated on the New York stock exchange. With the growing need for our everyday lives on internet even during the Pandemic Comcast employees are considered essential personal. Assess how the company appears to approach issues of ethical behavior and social responsibility and how this might affect its value. (1 – 1.5 minutes)

Comcast over the years has grown to understand the only way they are going to retain employees and improve the company image is to provide more work-life balance and meet the needs of the customer and the employee. That thought process has expanded into the community with a mission to provide internet to all school-age children and to really give back in the individual rural areas. I personally have participated in a drive to bundle up diapers for women’s shelters and work internet essentials events to sign up families for the internet. Comcast cares events are held in every region and work in conjunction with groups such a big brother bog site to provide mentorship. I think this brings strong value to the potential growth of the company and the lives it can impact.
