Hello instructor. It is really fantastic that I have a chance to reflect on how the writing process has been going for me with my essay up to this point.  So far, the discussions have been easier for been handle. Responding to the prompts has not been a challenge at all.  However, when writing the assignments involving writing essays,  there have been ups and downs.  So  far, I have no problem with organizing my essay since am able to organize my work well.  Moreover, stating the thesis statement was not challenging since I had written some essays in my past courses. The biggest problem  I have is making my conclusion to be in line with my thesis statement. Am not so sure if I have to restate my thesis statement in the conclusion.  Another challenge that I have faced when writing the critical response essay is how to critically analyze an essay.  I do not clearly know where to start from when criticizing the story.  Criticizing the message the author has to convey in a the story has been so problematic to me.

There are some things that am requesting you help me on in the critical response essay am currently working on.  One of them is how to organize my ideas when criticizing the story. I really need to know where to start from and where to end. I have also faced the challenge of how and when to cite in the essay.  I find it difficult to cite the same source in almost every sentence in my source. Please advise me on when and how to cite a source. Thank you.
