EXP105_G30 Discussions Week 4 - Discussion 2- Understanding the Patterns of Others

For the person you chose, identify the level of use (Use First, Use as Needed, Avoid) for each Learning Pattern and describe how they use it. Specify if you are guessing the level of use or if you gave them the LCI.

The person of my chose is my mom and her LCI is Sequence is somewhere between 25 & 35.  I can truly say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, like mom like daughter.  She wants clear and precise instructions on what to do and she’s also a very neat person which also includes doing things in order.

Remind us of your Learning Patterns by listing the level of use. My LCI is

Sequence (30) Use First Level, Precision (25) Use First Level, Technical Reasoning (16) Avoid, Confluence (15) Avoid

Provide an example that demonstrates how Learning Patterns led to positive interactions or created friction between you and the person you selected. The learning pattern can provide positive interaction by learning what and how to respect people in general, having moral ethics of life.  A friction is how neat and orderly my mom can be.  Sometimes I picture her as MONK from the TV show.  Everything has a place is her motto.

Applying what you know about Learning Patterns, how do you now view the incident?  I view the learning pattern as a positive way of life, and I view the incident of a strong willed person (mom) making sure that things are in order, and that everyone’s pattern is not alike.
