GEN103 Week 3 - Discussion 1- Scholarly and Popular Sources

The first source I read was very short and to the point and the other article was very lengthy. The characteristics of both sources are different from the types of sources it comes from. The first source is a peer scholarly reviewed source while the other one was a website source where the information can or cannot be accurate, more so of an opinion based source that defines what wellness programs are and how a person may use the particular program.

The first article seems more credible because of the informal information that’s given based on the knowledge and background of the author. All the people who wrote in the article have a great background of a doctorate degree which is related to the article. The second article doesn’t give a lot of background knowledge or good claims until the very end. The article title was very catchy to grab the reader’s attention. I would choose the first article, the first article seems more scholarly and informal.
