GEN103 Week 5 - Discussion 1- Academic Integrity

After reading over the Academic Integrity and personal responsibility sections of our school’s catalog portion , I felt that Personal Responsibility and continual improvement are the most important elements for me academically and on a personal level . To me academic integrity is based off completing assignments on time in a timely matter . I can say I have fell short several times due to deaths in my family these five weeks but I have manage to stay a little bit on top of my work in class to maintain a passing grade. Having personal responsibilities is taking on major things and staying on top with your classwork or even your daily life . following these two particular things and staying on top of your work will make you very successful in life ,

Plagiarism and fabrication are very important to me . Stealing other people work and falsifying  documents is something that will get you kicked out of school . I learned while in high school my junior year when I had to write a paper for my history class , on how to site my work and to not plagiarize because that could have gotten me a zero and sent to the principal office at the time . Now days in college students can get kicked out of school . When you forge someone else’s work it takes the good name of someone work and make you look bad because that’s stealing and not giving the person credit for there great work .
