First, I have learnt on how to precisely grasp and formulate the students leaning objectives (SLOs) through use of three main elements that is: Knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. With these three element that would assist the educator to have a comprehensive syllabus and lesson plans. Student Learning Objectives are used to provide students with a brief roadmap and summary as they task through the course. Excellent SLOs provide a perfect guideline for students when reviewing materials and preparing for assessments. Students can use excellent learning objectives as a guide when reviewing materials and preparing for tests. If learning objectives are actionable and measurable, they are the most effective.

The second important aspect that I learnt is the way to formulate effective lesson plans. The way to formulating accurate and precise lesson plans is to set up accurate SLOs and goals. Lesson planning is crucial because it allows instructors to ensure that the activities that take place in their classrooms provide learners with a good level of long-term development toward the goals defined in their sequence and individual education plans.

The third and the last concept that I have learnt is to make an excellent presentation in ppt using clear and perfect visual aids. One has to summarize each of the topic learnt, make precise points for each idea, and make a consistent format in all slides of presentation

Formulating SLOs

In my opinion, setting and formulating SLOs was the most fundamental aspect that was presented in this course. It is the new concept that I have learnt that will assist me on formulating an effective lesson plans and setting up relevant goals for my students in future. The SLOs should clearly state the main reason behind the teaching so that each of the student will have to know and comprehend why they should learn a certain subject.There is high risk a lack of focus in the classroom if when the educator fails to set SLOs, and thus he/she won’t be able to track the lesson plans' achievements and failures.

Developing a lesson plan

The second important aspect that I have learnt is the skill to develop a lesson plan. A crucial part of teaching process is the creation of a lesson plan. Educators can use lesson plans to define student learning objectives, organize and distribute course content, and plan and prepare activities and materials for their students. This is made easier by developing a wide range of accurate and precise lesson plan for each course.

Developing an excellent presentation

The third aspect that I have learnt is how to develop an excellent presentation of a lesson plan. I have learnt six important points that can aid me on drafting an excellent SLOs

ā€¢ Narrow the topic so that it can be comfortably delivered in the allotted time.

ā€¢ Create an outline of the important points to be covered.

ā€¢ Create visual aids, when appropriate, to enhance the understanding of the topic.

ā€¢ Present the information clearly.

ā€¢ Check for understanding.

Peer review

I have also learnt on how apply peer review aspect to improve the draft papers of my classmates. This has taught me on how to improve on areas that needs more attention of lesson plan development so as to ensure my other classmates develop final draft that will aid their skills development spiral in all areas of teaching profession.

Team work and collaboration

My team members have been such an amazing group since everyone has acted responsibly towards the assigned tasks. They have learnt on how to keep time and working hard towards the success of drafting the final draft of our lesson plans. With this experience, I have improved on my time keeping behavior, setting up deadlines with achievable goals, and collaborating with a team to meeting important goals

How can you use what you learned in your professional life? Provide two examples.

Your Answer:

The entire course learning process has made me acquire some important skills in my profession. First, through knowing the process of developing my lesson plans as an educator, I will be able to develop my future lesson plans, work job schedules and timelines to meet certain objectives of my workplace. I will be able to set daily, weekly, monthly or annual aspirations with a focused target.

Through acquiring skills in making structural accurate and precise SLOs, I will be able to set certain goal target for my junior co-workers, trainees on what to meet in our workplace. I will be able to train more of junior educators on how to go about formulating SLOs way towards creating effective lesson plans.
