We think that if earnings are known, would break loose at work and others even quit, but according to David’s argument, such transparencies can be the biggest virtue to the company. Transparency may increase fairness and collaboration in a company. When everyone’s earnings are known, the feeling of feeling underpaid and being discriminated against is killed. When earnings secrets are upheld, they lead to information asymmetry where a group of people have more information than others. It may lead to some people feeling underpaid, which is not the situation. People should negotiate to raise everyone’s Salary, which significantly helps the company develop more.
Openness is the best way to ensure fairness. Many have been practicing this example of Dane Atkinson, who has started many companies, and when he launched SumAll, he admits that the results were excellent. When people know they are paid, they will work extra hard to improve their performance to be paid more or better.
Reasons to Share Your Salary with Coworkers.
With knowledge from David, the management researcher, here are a few reasons it is worth disclosing your earnings to your coworkers to kill that feeling of discrimination and underpaid.

The truth is that some employers try to pay their coworkers less than they should pay them instead. In your work residence, if you are ever concerned about what you get paid, how can you know your worthiness in that company? Can you even know if you are paid equally with your workmate? You may be paid less due to secrecy in salaries which is not fair. May are only concerned during interviews but do you mind knowing if policies have changed or not. Pay transparency helps a lot know if your market or company value has risen and your Salary should go (Steingold, 2021).

Many people will be paid more than others because they perfectively negotiated their salaries. Chane Steiner, a CEO, said that discussing and being fully open to coworkers about salaries helps achieve fairness. For example, one of the workers may be a good negotiator while the other was not when both were doing some job, but due to negotiating skills, one ends up being paid more than the other, which should not de the case, thus promoting unfairness. At the same time, salaries should be defined by personal qualifications and skills.
