INF103 Week 4 Discussion 1 Computer Ethics

Ethical considerations of technology in society raise methodological questions of how these considerations should proceed in this context, and who should be involved. Our view is that it is essentially an interdisciplinary activity. ICT practitioners, ethicists, social scientists, lawyers, and policymakers, are all necessary if real progress is to be made. (Weckert2013) When ethics of technology come to mind that is a huge question because ethics is dealing with the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles. So basically is technology a major factor in today’s society. My opinion is yes because basically everything in our world today is based on technology.
