INF103 Week 5 Discussion 1 Emerging Information Technology

When the word trend I think of fad or passing faze

What I see as an emerging trend but one that I don’t think is a passing trend but will only improve is the use of smartphones.

As a level 2 chief, I work in the hotel industry and part of my job is to create daily lunch sliders and quickly share this information, with those around me. In the industry where I am always on the go in cramped spaces the smartphone is what gives me the ability to search the web fast on the go in small places, store information to the cloud record food preparation and presentation being able to the company’s website, and quickly upload new content within seconds.

School

Distance learning the best thing I have experienced is the student canvas the (LMS) allows me to and upload contents and essentially become apart of an online classroom and allow me to be in more one at a time I can virtually speak to be able to access the student canvas on the smartphone and multitask even in uncommon areas for smartphone is an emerging trend that gives that compatibility.

Personal Time

As a student of kabbalah, I am always in search of information form hundreds of years ago and my smartphone device is again the platform of choice as a person always on the go technology has advanced to the point where staying connected to information as the such the weather and traffic conditions help me navigate my day to day activities to me this attributed to continual evolution of the computing.
