HUMAN RESOURCE PLAN

INTERACTIVE CAREER DAY

INTRODUCTION

The human resource plan is in place to assign all duties, responsibilities, and chain of command. All roles, requirements, and chain of authority is laid out within this document.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Sponsor (PS), Eddie Hargreaves:

It is the responsibility of the project sponsor (PS) to verify all requirements and restrictions on the project. The PS will consult guidelines to verify that all discussed project components are compliant with regulations of entity hosting Career Day. The PS will have the overall authoritative say on the entire project.

The PS must possess the following skills: knowledge of regulations and effective communication.

Project Manager (PM), Johnathon D. Harrell:

The project manager (PM) is responsible for the success of the entire project. The PM must approve all expenses related to the project. The PM is also responsible for approving each work activity’s satisfactory completion. The PM will be responsible for all cost and schedule variances and communication between each stakeholder.The PM will be responsible for all documentation and the final physical presenting of the project at the Career Day.

The PM must possess the following skills: leadership/management, budgeting, scheduling, and communication.

Design Engineer (DE), Johnathon D. Harrell:

The design Engineer (DE) will be responsible for the creation/testing of the device used for the interactive presentation. The DE will be responsible for keeping the device within the scope of the project guidelines. Any purchases required will be presented to the PM for approval. The DE will report directly to the PM and consult with the Software Engineer on the design of the device. The DE must possess the following skills: strong knowledge of electrical engineering, and effective communication.

SoftwareEngineer (SE), Johnathon D. Harrell:

The software engineer (SE) is responsible for creating the code to control the hardware on the created device and the application for the user interface. The SE is responsible for ensuring that all bugs are worked out of the system before the presentation. Any purchases required will be presented to the PM for approval. The SE will report directly to the PM and consult with the DE on the software creation.

The SE must possess the following skills: strong knowledge of software engineering (ARM systems and Linux) and effective communication.

STAFFING MANAGEMENT

All necessary human resources will be selected before the end of the planning phase of the project. All human resources will be gathered internally. In the event that an internal member does not have the required knowledge to perform a task, an outside source will be consulted with such as electrical engineer/programming community through forums.

Training:

Any training needed for this project will the responsibility of the party receiving the training. It is assumed that all resources have the knowledge and skill sets to perform necessary task.

Performance Reviews:

Performance reviews will be conducted at the end of each task. It is the responsibility of the PM to conduct these reviews.

Recognition and Rewards:

For all project task completed on time and on budget, the responsibly party will receive 123,456 kudo points.
