IT301 Unit 9 Seminar

Unless vendors supply products to complete the project, a project will never get off the ground. The procurement process addresses vendors to be used in the course of a project. Services and goods should be included. In this process, contracts are generally negotiated and awarded. The procurement process includes multiple project management plan inputs, selection of source criteria, a qualified list of sellers, and proposals for sellers. Documents are based on requests for clarification and information in the procurement process. One of the most important inputs comes from the list of qualified sellers that includes a pre-approved list of pre-qualified sellers. When goods or services are contracted outside the company, a behavioral procurement process is used. Some procurement tools and techniques are conducting meetings, searching on the internet and advertising. It is important to be able to get what your project will need to attract more than one vendor. You may not get the best product / service or rates if only a few companies can see what your project needs.

To complete the project, the process of quality assurance involves identifying the best process to make a standard. During a project, this process will also focus on the accuracy and effectiveness of all processes. Inputs and outputs are included in this process as well. A few inputs are project management plan, quality metrics, information on preformation work and quality control measures in this process. This process focuses solely on ensuring that what is set out in the project management plan meets the expectations of the stakeholder.
