Hello Class and Professor,

An example of an organization that should employ the simple structure organizational configuration is a small carpenter workshop. All employees report to the owner of the workshop. Deliberations and decisions are made among the few employees following the directions of the owner. There are little consultations but directives from the owner.

Machine bureaucracy form of structure: An example of an organization using this form of structure is one that deals with manufacturing of firearms. The production as well as the manufacturing is highly dependent on widely consultative measures (Helms, 2017). The production is controlled by different bodies hence requiring bureaucracy to ensure standardization is maintained.

Professional bureaucracy: In professional bureaucracy the focus is on standardization and avoidance of centralization. As such, the standardization of skill is attained through professional bureaucracy (Baack, Minnick & Reilly, 2014). An example of an organization that could use this structure is a public administration organization such as healthcare facilities in the public sector. Therefore, a healthcare organization may have various branches in different regions through which the professionals working in these branches deliver standardized services but operate under different environments and leadership.

Divisional form of structure: This is a form of structu\re that involves an organization that has different companies forming one organization. For example, KPMG operates in different countries with different leadership for functionality. The aim is to have all the companies to operate independently with reference to the circumstances in which they operate.

Adhocracy Structure: The best example of an organization in need of this structure is film-making industries. This is because; the structure allows the formation of tasks forces that are charged with the duty of making particular decisions. They involve different members from varying sub-units. Through these sub-units, less hierarchical tendencies are maintained. Particularly, it is functional where the organizations face a high level of competition. With the low level of hierarchical decision making, quick decisions are made to keep up with the level of competition.
