By first understanding they is a puzzle, be the first to be humble and do not treat them as he/she is treating you. Speak up if you feel you are being disrespected or being abused. Be in position to address the issue at that moment do not wait but at the same you have to remain calm and more important be respective even after being offended. Listen to them and solve the problem in more polite manner. But do not allow to disrespected or be abused by a colleague.
